REPTILES & AMPHIBIANS
As of March 7, 2003 it was possible for West Australians to keep reptiles and amphibians as pets after a licence has been obtained. There are no species of reptiles or amphibians exempt from licence requirements in Western Australia. The Department of Environment and Conservation issues licences. Information on the various categories, costs and requirements is available directly from the Department or through Perth Aquarium and Display Centre.
So now at Perth Aquarium and Display Centre not only do we carry fish but we also carry a wide selection of reptile livestock and products including vivariums, UV and heat lighting, feeding equipment, treatments and cage furnishings. We also stock live and frozen foods as well as a wide range of reptile books.
If we do not have the particular species you are planning to keep please enquire with our staff to special order it for you.
